Hi everybody! I’m Stefania, a student at the Glasgow School of Art working on her master’s project.
I’m researching on the relationship rigger/animator and I’d like to know your opinions.

Here are questions:

Is communication between riggers and animators difficult?

Do you think is good for a rigger to have experience in animation? And for animators to know rigging to some extent? Why?

Are there differences in big and small studios in the way riggers and animators communicate?

In small studios often one person works both as a rigger and animator. Do you think this is more or less beneficial than having one person for each role?

Thanks!
