I am not sure what I did but my cat Animation panel no longer shows up. I load my Cat scene with a rig and everything and I know it is there cause I get right click context menus but when I click on the Motion tab I just see “Parameters” and “Trajectories” and the whole layering panel is simply gone.
Did I press something to make it disappear and how do I get it back ?

Uh , never mind…
I restarted 3d max a few times and now it is back ... no clue what happened but at least it works now.
