While we are at it Grack id like to ask you something...regarding spine, do u generally leave it at procedural or keyframed?

Here is something very interesting that you should cover in my opinion :

CAT doesn’t allow you have control over the hips. When you rotate the main controler, you rotate the ribcage as well.

I found a freerig which is called “Mogan” that you maybe already know and which allows a good hips control.

You can see in this rig a complex system of bones along the spine with various dummies, wire paramters,.... In the end you have good control over the hips. After a few hours, I can reproduce the same but I’m a bit confuse during the skinning part. I understood that I had to skin over the maxbones instead of the Catspine but I don’t know how to skin my vertices between the hips and the main controler.

I think it’s a good advanced topic that worths a videotut ;-)
