Hi Folks
I’m new to CAT and after studying a lot of topics on this forum, i still have some issues which i could’t resolve.
I simply created a horse rig and loaded a CAT motion layer. At frame no. 6 the green leg goes inwards and i was not able to find a solution to it. I saw Grack’s tutorial (a great great help indeed)and i could manage the stretch and all but not the issue mentioned.
It looks like swivel angle but i could not figure out something to control it.
I’m still looking for a solution but any help would hopefully save a lot of time for me.

Thanks

Sandy

try putting a slight bend in the knee. before applying catmotion or bend it after appying the motion

it didnt work...there are many cases where applying a cat motion layer makes leg stretch at extreme positions..now i’m trying to adjust that with a local adjustment layer but i dont understand if i need to adjust the leg position or bring the spine down...i’ve tried many variations but its not coming up nice..are there any other way of working this out!

could you post something showing the problem. and its most likely the controls for catmotion that are causing the problem adjusting catmotion should solve the problem. if bending the bone doesnt

if you dont want to change it by hand. adjusting anything dealing with the legs in catmotion will alter the walk
