Has anyone had this problem before? the biped COM will not respond when trying to move it along the z-axis, even when not keyframing and if i try to select, move or delete any of the keys already created for the COM the entire program shuts itself down… saying it encountered a fatal error. sometimes it doesn’t do that though and lets me edit the keyframes, but still won’t let me move on the z-axis. i did some investigating and found that i could move the COM on the z-axis if i entered values into the coordinates down the bottom of the screen. is this glitch/corruption of biped animation a problem to do with 3ds max 9’ character studio… or just my dodgy animation techniques? because this has happened before. i fixed it by redoing the whole animation with a clean biped… but the animation in this scene is too far along for me to have to redo all over again, i could but it would seriously waste time. i will upload the scene once i get home as i can’t upload anything on this network. i hope someone can help me!
