I am currently working with some broadcasting guys on their computers and I noticed, that when they use Studio Max, it permanently wants to connect to the internet. I have checked their settings for the communication center already and put it on check every month, but it does not make any difference.
At my home machine I don’t have this problem, so I probably forgot about what I have set up differently. It is really annoying, so..I would be really happy, if somebody could just tell me how to stop this....?????

It’s probably the InfoCenter… try disabling options through the interface, so it does not try to connect.

They surely have a firewall , internet security package. So put max in the list of programs to deny access to.
