Try right clicking on the launch icon and choose run as administrator, see if that helps.

"Fehlermodulname:  ntdll.dll
Fehlermodulversion:  6.0.6000.16386”
the ntdll makes me think it is windows (what is version 6, XP?).
Have you tried runnig a regisrty cleaner to see if that helps?

I was just checking my system information for referencing another post here on the forum and the module that is being referenced in the crash is the same version number for Microsoft’s DirectX 10.

Is your video driver up to date?

Well, you’re not the only one who has gotten this error and not just Max:

We seem to be having this problem a lot when trying to save a Max file (ie. at least 5 times a day), using 3DS Max 2008 64-bit, running Vista Business 64-bit. When we look into the Event Viewer it reports back with:

“… faulting module ntdll.dll, version 6.0.6001.18000 ...”

Has anyone found a remedy for this?
