Hey everyone...I’m a longtime Maya user recently learning Max.  I’m trying to make a polygon based on vertices that I place (append to polygon in Maya).  I was wondering if there is a way to do this in Max..or something similar...thanks in advance!

Polygon SubObject mode > Edit Geometry Rollout > Create
Click each vertex in sequence starting and ending on the same one. Tip. Vertex Snaps are very useful when doing this.

Alternatively, if the new poly is 4-sided, Edge SO mode, select an existing edge and Shift+Move it - effectively an Edge Extrude. Then switch to Vertex and position the newly created vertices (rather than creating them first).
