I am doing some animation work using a joystick as a mocap controller and have the need for additonal input control. Can 3DS Max see/address multiple USB joysticks connected to my PC?

Wanted to find out before I fork over $$$ for another joystick.

Thanks,

Sergio

Max 9 couldn’t see anything beyond a few ‘sidewinder’ pads and sticks.
Also it was a real hassle to motion capture our manipulation.

Then came along Craft Cam tools , it’s the only way to go if your going to be buying anything.
If not, or on a different budget , a microsoft Xbox compatible pad is readily mated to 3DS max(only 2010 tested ! ) any time you plug it in.

Also, you can use the 3d connexion [sic] controllers to manipulate objects in realtime in max though I’m not sure how much flexibility you have in mapping it to anything other than rotation and position.
