I need a chatacter to land in a squatted position, however I can not move the biped’s hip up or down.  For that matter I can not move the biped off the ground plane.  Even in figure mode, the hip bone seems to be frozen in it’s position.  It won’t move sideways or backwards either.  Is there something I’m missing?

Hi Faye:

I guess you are new with Biped.  You are not supposed to move Biped’s Hip anyways.

To animate Pelvis you need to move Biped’s COM (Center of Mass).

Also make sure your not in Pose mode or have left it on like some dumb people *cough* <ME when you start to animate.
