Anybody here with a script that revoke this feature in 3dsmax 2008 ?

I tried to use ‘standard scene’ (guessing it means without maps) in global viewport setting menu, but it only crashes 3dsmax constantly…

regards,

rob.

If you take a look under the processing tab in the render scene window, there’s a checkbox that says skip mas and textures.
Is this what your looking for?

It toggles the Display Map in Viewport Toggle for all maps, right?

Maybe it was a script in the prior versions… or a utility… did you look through the older installations to see if there is a script with this functionality… I did quickly last night in Max9, but the folder structure division drives me nuts, and I did not find it, but it’s obviously a tool in the Menu in Max9.
