Hello,

When loading a scene from the network it can take several minutes until the program responds since it search for missing maps in the directory where the 3dsmax file is located. I want to disable this feature..it’s very annoying.
Where do I disable this? Or can it be a default setting that can’t be turned off?

Also...If the program finds a matching file it doesn’t replace the existing (missing) map so every time you open the material editor you have to wait…

All paths can be adjusted from: Customise>Configure User Paths
You might want to check out how easy it is to adjust mapped paths using: File>Asset Tracking
From there you can adjust pretty much anything path-related.

Hope this helps!
