disabling red box guide

I am trying to togggle from F3 to F4 unfortunately I cant select my polygons because of the RED Bounding box.  How can I disable this red box.  Thanks

i don´t know, what red box you mean. if you hit set key or auto key, you can see a red border around your viewport. but this does not limit your selection possibilities. maybe you just hit the space bar and you activated the selection lock toggle....

F2 is the hotkey for Shade Selected Faces Toggle which will switch from a solid red face to a red outline, maybe this is your answer?

Here is the capture of my red bounding box.  Everytime I convert to editable poly and when I toggle from F4 to F3 the object shows red bounding box.

got it fix I just downloaded the current patches and updates from autodesk websites under data download.
