edit poly differences between max9x64 with PB rev3 and SP2.

Had a problem with a file created in max9x64 with PB rev3 rendering differently on max9x64 SP2.

There was an object with an edit poly modifier on it. When this was rendered on the farm the one machine we have that is running just sp2 and no PB extension ignored the edit poly modifier and rendered the mesh that was at the base of the stack.

I collapsed the stack and this seemed to fix the problem. The object was also instanced if that info helps.

Any ideas what might be causing this anomaly for future reference?
