What has happened to maxs front end? It seems a lot slower bringin up select from scene, and the colour selector is not well laid out at all, Having used Max since version 2, I am familiar with the ok button for the Color seletor being where the reset button is now, so you can imagine how annoying it si to change a color only to reset it and it happens EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!

Seriously is there a way to ‘roll back’ certain UI elements? being more familiar with the old layout of select from scene and color selector.

If you mean the “Select by Name” dialog then see this thread which includes the “fix” to revert to the old dialog.

As for the colour picker - I’m not aware of any way to change that. I also can’t quite see what you mean about “Close” (there isn’t an OK on the earlier one) and “Reset” (on the new one) being in the same place - they aren’t - by a considerable distance - but I do understand your frustration.
