Having used Maya for years and using Max sporadically over the years, I was wondering if there is some existing discussions on making the transition from Maya to Max (or vice versa). I am looking for tips and tricks on typical workflow topics. Examples would be “previous view”, “next view”, “interactive Gizmo sizing”, “showing tesselation on nurbs”, bla bla bla…
...any insight?

Previous view = undo viewport operation, Shift+Z
Next View = redo viewport operation, Shift+Y
Gizmo size = -/=, it doesn’t work the same as Maya though where the transform sensitivity is based on size, X also toggles the gizmo on/off
Nurbs I haven’t used at all in Max, but it’s probably in the modify panel under the nurbs surface if you check mesh only in display line parameters and change the tesselation in the surface approximation
