I have a Microsoft Comfort Optical Mouse 3000, and I cant get the middle mouse button to grab or orbit. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Thanks :)

Given the problems folks have had with the drivers for the Intellimouse (also an MS product) I’d be very tempted to uninstall any drivers for it and use the default ones in windows. You can always reinstall them if it doesn’t help.

Max 4.2 through 2013.
XP-64 (SP2)
NVidia 9800GTX-512 (Driver 266.58).
Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHz, 8Gb Ram, DX9.0c.

I’d check to make sure the drivers middle mouse button is set to a compatible default scroll wheel mode.  Max will then interpolate that functionality into common behavior within Max.
