Can anyone tell me why sometimes when you select and move something it will multiply the movement. If you move to far it will shoot out into outer space someplace. I’ve had to restart Max when this happens, and it’s not that big of a deal but you can’t even undo to get the item back into place, and if you haven’t’ saved yet you ether have to except the changes and go fishing for the projectile, or you go back to your last saved scene.

It might be the scale of the scene. Objects act strangely if they are far away (1 million units) from the origin, or if the scene is way small (you’re moving an object 0.0001 units). Or sometimes if Snap is on you might be jumping/snapping to a distant vert or something.
