Hi guys!

I have max2008 installed and working - 4PC x 2 cores, 2GB RAM each . I installed MR DR Server:

RaySat_3dsmax2008_32server.exe /install

and then, when i try to start it:

RaySat_3dsmax2008_32server.exe /start

i get the following message on each computer:

raysat_3dsmax2008_32server error: (1094) RaySat_3dsmax2008_32 Server failed to start

what’s wrong? how can i fix it? what i’m doing wrong?

A breaf tutorial on instalation/setting of MR distributed rendering will be greatly appreciated!

few hours later…

OK I’ve reinstalled, i changed the raysat port and now it seems to run, besides, there are 5 buckets when it starts and 2 buckets when it moves on, though i have 4 2Core CPU-s…
And the single task mennager that shows 50% (notice, not 100 but 50%) ussage is the one on the server. Others show 3-4% if nothing happens there…

Moreover, while rendering this way, after:
raysat_3dsMax2008_32.exe/query I receive
RaySat_3dsmax2008_32 Server service is stopped.

besides he is inside task menager as runing aplication, though when I check it in “System Information” /Software Environment/Services RaySat’s state is “STOPPED”

and once, again:

“raysat_3dsMax2008_32server.exe"/start

Starting RaySat_3dsmax2008_32 Server.
raysat_3dsmax2008_32server error: (1094) RaySat_3dsmax2008_32 Server failed to start

Well I really don’t know how to run it!!!
Is there a possibillity to change some delay time, which raysat waits for responce, or whatever?! Need eargent help, guys! Please!
