Hey guys/girls.  I have 3ds Max 9 (didn’t see a 9 section, so this is the closest thing I guess)

Anyway, I am running 3ds Max 9 on a new computer that has Windows 7 and cant get it to come up correctly on the start as shown on the first pic. Plus, I have just recently tried installing the add-on BRAZIL and cannot get it to work. I keep getting error as in the picture below.  What am I doing wrong?

Also, I would like to apologize if this has been brought up previously, I looked, but did not find any topic similar to my problem.

Max 9 is covered by the “Max through 2008” forum - thread moved to that forum (from 2009).

Are you sure you have the correct version of Brazil? Current versions probably won’t work on earlier releases. You might be better off asking this on the Brazil forums:-

Thanks man, I will post there and see what they say.  I had it working with no errors on XP, but now that I have Windows 7 its giving me issues.

Any idea on the first picture?  The memory error

Nope. ddsbmi provides the ability to read DDS image files. If it’s an old version it may not work with W7 (no W7 here so I can’t test this).
