| path still trying to load need to turn off |

Everytime I load max 2008 its always trying to find the path. I dont remember what i did but the only thing i remember when I followed a tutorial about mental ray and I set the path. The path was saved from a external hard drive. That external hard drive is already gone and Max 2008 keeps tracking it or finding it. How can I turn this off. Here is the capture shot.
