| Re-enable the dialog boxes in 3ds Max
|
|
|
Hello,
In 3ds Max 9, when we “Collapse All” in the modifier stack, we get a warning dialog that it will remove everything in the stack of all selected objects, including creation parameters and any animation applied to creation or modifier parameters. Are you sure you want to continue?
The problem here is that I really need this dialog box to appear every time as a reminder. But the problem is that another user (who used 3ds Max on my computer) enabled the “Do not show this message again” check box, so I’m not getting this warning again, and I have no idea how to re-enable it so that it appears everytime as before.
So therefore I would like to re-enable this dialog box in 3ds Max, and also re-enable any other dialog boxes which have this “Do not show this message again” check box. Please help.

Hello,
Thank you both for your replies.
By the way, may I know if you can tell me where to find a list of moderators and administrators on this forum? (as well as a complete user list).

Go to Forum Home, on the left is your Profile Link, from your Profile there is a title to the right that says, “You re logged in as: “,
two links over is a link that says Member List.
Not sure about the Admin List.

At the bottom of the forum’s home page, there is a area which displays the Visitor statistics. I did not find any member list (including administrator list)
If possible, please provide me a screenshot with a “pointer” towards the members list. I admit this forum is not very user friendly like other forums :-( plus this is one of the slowest forums I’ve ever browsed (maybe because of the heavy details and graphics all over the place :-(

Near the TOP left of the Forum Home page is a link that says Login/Profile.

Yes, I know that, but I went again to that home page and checked. But by clicking anywhere in that area or any of these links does not take me to the Members List. I don’t understand.
You said in one of the previous posts above that “two links over is a link that says Member List”
But I cannot find any link in your screenshot that says “Member List”

No, I was showing you in the first screen shot how to get to the place where the links are,
I assumed you would find it from there.
Here is the screen of the Control Panel showing the link to the Member’s List.

Thanks a lot for pointing out that to me. I also found the Administrators list from the drop down list in the user search function.
