I have been tring to find a 3D app that has the feature of being able to edit while seeing in stereo 3D. Some apps have a post work anaglyph filter, but I am interested in actually working in stereo 3D. Any ideas?
If there is no feature or ability like that in Max, do you know if the colors in the attached image can be set up for the working viewport as a preset?  These are for viewing with Chromadepth prism glasses.
Thanks.

Max supports scene effect DX shaders which operate on the whole scene. Chromadepth looks like a good candidate for a Z-depth based scene effect. Of course, somebody has to write it, but otherwise it would be easily possible.

Thanks.
What kind of code do you have to know to write a Z-depth based scene effect?
