Version: 3DSMAX 9 SP2

In Editable Spline you can show Vertex Numbers and also set a specified Vertex to be first by clicking Make First. Does this feature exist with Editable Poly/Mesh/Patch and if so how can I enable and set this. Thanks.

Not that I know of. You could try searching scriptspot.com to see if there’s anything there which might help.

Note. If you really mean Max 9 then this is the wrong forum - you need “Max through 2008” as this one is for Max 2009 specific issues. If you want the thread moved just reply and ask - don’t create a duplicate thread there please.

These scripts work great. Invoke and select a bunch (or all) vertices to see the indicies.
