I couldn’t find this on previous topics and google provided me with an overwhelming amount of irrelevant pages on the subject…

...I’d like to know how to use the shaders in a viewport, such as DOF and Bloom effects. I’ve once seen an entire video on it but I can’t find it anymore.

And can this be combined with the new realtime shadowing feature of ‘08?

Also, I’ve tried using the shadows with DX materials, but it doesn’t seem to work… is this right? Because that would be a real pity IMO. That would be only one step away from rendering like in-game scenes in the 3ds max viewport.... :S

nvm. i found it…

...its the scene effect loader i was talking about.

unfortunately i didnt manage to combine DX materials and the realtime shadow feature… that would have been awesome.
