| the better way to get into exterior archteture modeling
Hello Area Forum users,,
A friend asked me to render his CAD works in 3d max. I know Max olny for box modeling, and a little of nurbs, and I dont know what is the better way to get nice and clear architecture results. What is better to work in the archtect bussiness? Box modeling starting from the CAD file?
Thanks for reading,

Interesting, so they use box modeling, and splines as well, booleans… Now I need to put these ideas into practice.

That’s the other reason I linked that thread - to make sure you understand there is almost always more than 1 way of doing things in Max. Which method you choose depends on a lot of things - knowing which to choose only comes with experience.
Keep at it :)
