Hi again

Just attempting to customize my viewing preferences a bit.

When I am in an editable poly, and the Viewport is set to Smooth & Highlights + Edged Faces…

When I go to make a polygon selection, the edge faces option divides each polygon into two triangles which is just annoying. Maybe I’m just used to newer versions of max where it doesn’t do this.

I’m wondering if there is an option to take this off?

Thanks again!

Adam

Customise > Preferences > Viewports (tab) > Configure Driver > Display all triangle edges.

Note. The file which stores that setting is in the Max installation folder. Make sure you run Max as Administrator when making the change or the setting may not “stick” (windows permissions can prevent limited access users from writing to that folder).
