Hello, I am working on rotating my camera a full 360 degrees in 3DS Max 9 so that it completely rotates around some objects that it is pointing at. I have tried numerous times to get the camera to rotate around but I have had no luck and now I’m faced with a migraine. Click on the link below to view my 3DS Max file to see what I’m talking about… By the way the link below should let you download the file totally free....

Your scene is setup with a free camera, try using a target camera instead. Place the target box on your object. The Star or the ball i’m guessing? I would suggest having one viewport with a camera view, and another in perpective showing the camera, rotate the camera is the perpective viewport

Draw a circle, select your camera, from the animation menu, choose Constraints - Path Constraint, select the circle.

Various examples.

See File>Summary Info for information on setting up each camera.
