Annoying Trackview Problem

I’m having this problem where if I scale the trackview, say, vertically so that I can see curves that would otherwise appear flat, then as soon as I edit the keys the view snaps back to the way it was before, making it impossible for me to edit curves that are too small vertically. I’ve tried turning on and off filters, autoscrolls, and manual navigation but it still does the same thing. Has anybody else had this problem?
