I have skinned my base mesh character all the envelopes are fine etc using physique, I now have created a mesh for clothing, a robe and am wanting to somehow ‘attach’ this to the existing base mesh?

What is the best way to go about this? I have no idea as all of my characters so far have been kinda nudie lol..and am wanting to put some clothes on them

thanks :P

There are two main methods for clothing. One is to Skin the clothing, apply the Skin/Physique mod to the clothes like you did with the skin mesh. The other is more complex, using simulated Cloth. There are tutorials that explain how to do this with Max, best to go through them.
See the Hair and Cloth tutorials.
