hello everyone!
i have a biped body object with animation and a sword model. how can i attach sword to the hand of the biped body object?
two objects are in the same scene… i tried to apply physique modifier to the both objects and in envelope/radial scale increased value to cover sword… but maybe i don’t need to do it and link somehow the hand bone to the sword?

thank you.

Simply use the Select and link tool to attach the sword to the Bip Hand.
If you need it to pick up, let go or swap hands, then use a Link Constraint and add links at the right frames.

Samab, thanks a lot! Link Constraint just solved the problem perfectly!

why does this never work for me it always rotates or moves before I want the object to

I have created a simple box to be picked up at frame 15
I animated the bipeds vert com to bend down to frame 15 to be in position of picking up the box
I linked the box to the biped r-hand using the Animation > Constraint > Link Contraint and set the ‘start time to 15’ (the point where it should be linked and able to be picked up)

Though it wigs out all over the place or it starts attached even though I have stated start at 15?

Have a read through this thread - it’s pretty much the same problem.

Give the object a Link to World at the start frame.
