I have a drill bit with several animated parts which are all linked to a dummy parent.
When I assign a path deform to the Dummy, it moves along the path but the children do not follow it at all. Are there any work arounds for this or can anyone make a recommendation. Thank you in advance.

Try a path constraint, this should let ur children follow....

Pete, Thanks for the reply, it’s a start.
I’m getting a problem now where the children objects are snap rotation as the dummy goes over certain parts of the path....(the first time it does it it goes over the second vertex in the path...then it snaps again about halfway between the second and third vertexes of the path. It’s very strange because the dummy parent seems to maintain a constant motion and rotation along the path its just the children who are all doing something wierd.
