hi
im kind of new in the animation section at max (till now i work in architecture visualisation) and i wonder if theres a way to select some keyframes and freeze them, so i can add and check other keyframes and preview them without the first keyframes.

thanks

ezer

I’m no wiz at this but you could delete the keys and run the animation then do an undo operation.
Or maybe a snapshot of the scene (which I’ve never used).

You can stretch and shrink your timeline so you can concentrate on just the frames you are working with. It’s like zooming in/out in time.

Ctrl+Alt+Left mouse to manipulate the beginning of the timeline
Ctrl+Alt+Right mouse to manipulate the end of the timeline

When you hit the play button, only the frames shown will playback.

You can also work with Position/Rotation/Scale - List Controllers. Then simply set the weighting to 0.
