I am trying to animate about 4000 objects in a scene
and reverse the keys on all of them.
But even after the keyframe shows the keys for all 4000
objects, it will only manage to reverse the keys on about
1700 of them- they are copies and are all point objects
for minimum ram usage.

particle flow controlled the initial animation, and then
i baked the animation and turned off pflow
up to this point all is good

But the reversal in the keyframer seems to bog
and i was wondering if i should break the scene into smaller
chunks (and this is just an r&d test!)

If nothing else changes on the animation you wouldn’t need to render all those frames, which may be time consuming. Just copy the frames to another folder and rename them with total commander or some other freeware. Just a thought.
