When i go to use the IK solver to attach one set of bones to the next it twists the bones. Does any1 know why this is?

I wasn’t using IK solver. I was using link too and it makes the bones twist and i can’t rotate them back into the proper location

I am rendering at the moment so I can’t get to the box I am referring to but it is something that has to do with using the original position or to back transform. It is a check box on the linking. I will look when I can and repost, if someone doesn’t beat me to it…

If you are using a look at then this is like what you are looking for...(see below)
If you are using a link to, then you need to link it to the world first and then to the other object when you want it to start reacting based on the control object...you cannot change the controlled object while it is linked to another object using the constrain method. That is what it does, constrains it.
(I have said too much, some of which might be untrue, so someone please feel free to correct me if so.)

Yeah, I believe that is what I was looking for.  Greatly appreciated.  When I get a chance I’ll post back for sure but I understand what I see. I was basically looking for a checkbox.
