I do very little animation. I have about a days work done already on my current project. I was animating the camera movement when I realized it would probably be better to link the camera to a dummy object, then animate that dummy object.

So...Is there a way to “copy and paste” the camera movement to a new dummy object?

Thanks,

Dean

You can Copy and Paste animation controllers in Track View.
Select your aninated object, select the controller you want to copy in the Track View, for example Position. Right click the Position, select Copy from the Quad Menu.
Now select your other object, find it’s Position controller in Track View. Right click Position and choose Paste from the Quad, you can paste as Copy or Instance.
The same can be done for Rotation, Scale or other animatable params.
