I have a shot using reactor, rigid bodies with a reactor rope object - it is a chain mace.

The simulation is good but I need to edit it to make sure the mace hits its mark in some specific points.

I know that reactor rope doesn’t bake keys like the rigid bodies but I keep seeing posts that suggest making a snapshot to create an animated mesh which can then be edited as needed.

However, when I snapshot my rope object I either get an exact copy if I use copy (which still cannot be animated) or a single frame, er, snapshot, if I use mesh.

Am I missing something? Has anyone done this who can walk me through it?

Thanks
