I’m animating a pipe that is being hoisted up at one end while the other end is sliding along the floor.
I’m trying to use SplineIK for the movement, see the attached file. The problem is that one of the bones does not follow the spline accurately (see image).
What causes this, and how do I solve it?

Is there really no solution for this?
I tried converting the spline to NURBS, this has no effect.
Tried increasing the IK iterations and lowering the IK tresholds; also no effect.
