hi everybody. i have another probably silly question : i have a box that i converted to poly mesh and i am trying to animate it using its vertexes! later on in the scene when i try to move a vertex that is lastly moved like 100 frames backwards it starts moving strait after i moved it for last time. so during this 100 frames is continuously moving and i don’t want that. i would like it to start moving from certain frame number and stay still before that. i placed a key frame at the frame that i would like to have it start moving with right clicking on the slider but it totally ignores it ? i dont understand why is it different when animating vertexes. it works with everything else so far. and the other weird thing is after i put it where i wont it to be it starts moving back to it’s original place. it only does that after the second time i moved it. what am i doing wrong? or may be i should try to use morph target instead? ....
thanks in advance

There are several ways of animating certain vertex-points. Depending on the number of vertex-points you want to animate. There´s for example the Linked Xform, which is really helpful. Select the Vertex of your poly - or mesh-object, then put the Linked XForm-modifier on to it. Linked XForm lets you select a helper-object which controls your vertex. Indeed, vertex-animation could become a little frustrating, but I suggest to work a lot with the curve-editor (sub-object-mode), when doing so.
