Visibility Problem in Mentalray while rendering

I have made a box visibility animation.It come Proper in Scanline Render.But When it Assign to mental ray Renderer.The Visibility Animation does not come.But it shows proper in view port.

This is a well known issue - if you search these forums you will find many similar questions.

MR does not (fully) respect an objects visibility - it will “flip” from being visible to being invisible but will not “fade” in/out.

Workaround is to apply a material to the objct and animate the opacity of the material.



Max 4.2 through 2013.
XP-64 (SP2)
NVidia 9800GTX-512 (Driver 266.58).
Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHz, 8Gb Ram, DX9.0c.
