hey guys!!! once again here with a brand new problem, well guess that´s why we are here right? :D

anyway this is my problem, i have two slide controllers, i´m using them to move a pair of mechanical fingers, i wired the sliders with the wire parameter option, everything works fine but there is one problem that i can´t fix, if you see the file you´ll see the two fingers which are made by two pieces, on the left lower corner are the sliders, if you move the slider that says left foot toe you can see how the pieces on the rights moves, that´s how i wanted the blue piece to bend, however if you slide the left foot controller you´´ll see that the red piece is rotating upwards instead of inside just like the blue one,and i can´t make it rotate the opposite direction. I tried to change the rotation to X, Y and Z at the parameter wiring but that didn´t work, i tried to fix the pivot, and resetting the xform but it was useless, how can i solve this??
is it possible to change the direction the object rotates?

and finally the parameter wiring panel the one with the two left/right and two way connection buttons only appears when you are wiring the objects??? or you can access it some other way???

thanks guys!!!!!

I’m unable to open your file in Max 2009, but wired parameters use expressions. So if you’’re wiring the rotation of an object to a slider manipulator, and it’s rotating the opposite direction, then use “-value”, “value * -1”, “-degToRad(value)”, etc. in your expression.

For the “finally” question, Animation (menu) > Wire Parameters > Parameter Wire Dialog, or press Alt+5.
