| AEC WALL modify - undo bug?
|
|
|
Hi, I have a strange problem. When I make some AEC wall then go to modify and I select vertex (or segment) I get the Gizmo and I can move the vertex (or segment) in the scene.
But when I make UNDO, only the Gizmo returns to the last position, not the vertex (or segment). In that moment the “pivot point of the Gizmo” is outside the vertex (or segment). It will never correct it. The only way how to push the MAX to correct the position after UNDO is to move the Gizmo again (after the UNDO made before) and then the vertex (or segment) suddenly jumps to the right position where it should be.
I tried 2 computers, Vista and XP, everywhere the same. Do all of you have this problem? It is very uncomfortable to work with AEC walls without UNDO…

I did some tests and found the same result. However, if I moved the vertex again, the geometry reset. I’ll explain:
1. Make AEC wall.
2. Go to subobject vertex.
3. Select and Move vertex.
4. Undo. The gizmo goes back to the original position, but the geometry does not.
5. Move the vertex again, and the geometry resets to the proper location. Hitting the RMB before letting go of the LMB cancels the move.
Also, I’m getting some weird rectangles in the viewport when in subobject mode.

Yes, works exactly as you described. Weird…
But the tip with mouse clicks is very helpful, thank you.
