Blobmesh instances don't save properly

Hi, I’m having a strange problem and I was wondering if anyone else has encountered it. I have a blobmesh that was created by a jumble of low poly spheres as it’s base object. I then created several instances of the blob mesh in my scene and positioned them as I needed to. Strangely, when I open my max file all of my blobmesh instances are jumbled up in the center of my scene, and their rotations and scales seem to be wrong as well. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening?
