this is driving me nuts.  When I hit f9 to render a frame it is too bright.  When I hit the render button the exact frame renders out darker.

Anybody know why this would be hapenning?

I have found that hitting the f9 key does not always give you the active window render. The only safe way to get that is to use the render dialogue box. You may be getting a render of a different view in each case although the system is telling you they are the same. Like getting a perspective view when in fact you want front view.

no, these are renders of the same window...this is a real WTF moment because I keep having to actually render to file and open the files just to get an accurate reference...then tweak...then rerender.  This is a HUGE pain in the ass.
