I’ve built a theatre for a project. It has 2000 seats. My file has gotten pretty heavy. I just discovered mr Proxy object and created one for one of my seats.
Here is my problem. I spent about 4 hours carefully placing each of the 2000 original seats because the floor is sloped in two directions. Is there way to assign the new mr Proxy object to the remaining 1999 seats without having to place each mr Proxy object by hand again?

Check out the Tools>Clone And Align tool. It is perfect for distributing copies of one or more objects to a number of existing scene objects.
Select the mrProxy, start the tool, use Pick List to select the target chairs and use Instance mode to create a clone of the mrProxy at each chair (there are controls over position, rotation and scale alignment with optional offsets). Once you have your proxies, you can hide or delete your original chairs.

Can you see the red palm print on my forehead? I use that tool all the time. Sometimes you really can’t see the forest for the trees. I was looking for something burried within the mr Proxy controls or xref controls.
Thanks Bobo…
