| can't edit keyframes in Mini Curve Editor
|
|
|
I’m sure this has an easy solution, I just can’t figure it out!
I’m working on an animation, but all of a sudden, I can’t click on the key frames or slide the time line in the Mini Curve Editor. All of my work is there, but I’m not able to select anything or make changes. Is there some setting that I accidentally turned on/off that has to be changed back?
Thanks for the advice,
Charlie

Did you change the tool? Usually it’s set to the move tool, as highlighted in the attached image.

I fixed the problem by merging my old project into a new one, and once I had done that, the Mini Curve editor worked fine.
I think this might be some kind of a glitch—unless I’m missing some command or check box—because the same thing just happened in the new document. While I can work with the curve editor from the Graphic Editors menu, the pop-up Mini Curve editor has all of a sudden stopped working, and I’m unable to select key frames or slide the time bar.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Easy solution: hitting the space bar also locks key frames in the curve editor, but there is no lock symbol to let you know something is locked.
