Certain objects don't render when seen through glass (Mental Ray)

See attached image....the portion of the ceiling that should be seen through the window glass does not render.  However, the log beam which also penetrates through from inside to outside renders just fine.  If I hide the window glass, the ceiling renders properly.

The glass is a Plane with Mental Ray Arch & Design material using the Thin Geometry Glass template.  Rendered with Mental Ray with Final Gather at Low preset and no G.I. used.
