I am looking to be able to customize the title bar at the top of my max interface window.
Currently it displays “Scene_name.max -Project Folder: C:\Documents and Settings|Dave|My Documents\3dsmax -Autodesk 3ds Max Design 2009 SP1 . . . .”
Does anybody know of a way to customize this??? I’m guessing its a bit of text that needs replacing in a base file somewhere, but i can’t find anything
Cheers

That could very likely be something that is hard-coded, and can’t be changed. I don’t know for certain, though.
I’m curious what you want to change it to?

why not use a directory structure containing your name ? you even can get away using a “.” in it (like “d:\Your Instructor - John.Smith")
After you’ve set your project directory to this folder, at least you get your name shown as part of the tilebar string....
