I have a very large scene and I a trying to view a certain bitmap in my viewport using “Hardware display in viewport”.

I have a new Intel quad computer and graphics card.

I have everything hidden, yet if I unhide anything with a map using “Hardware display with maps”, my system hangs.

I have merged a few of these maps to a new empty scene and every thing is fine. I think it has to do with a large scenes.

Is “Hardware display with maps” only good for small scenes? How to I work with large scenes with maps. I need to see them accurately so I can scale them. “Standard disply with maps” dosen’t always display accuratley..
