Max has a render dimension of 32768px. How can I get around this limitation. I need somewhere in the 38000 range.

Thanks!

I used zap’s script before for large renderings with mental ray to get around my memory limitation. It renders out sections of the image to different files and you can composite them together in photoshop. I haven’t tried anything nearly as large as you need, but might be worth checking out.

Zap’s script

Good’ay mate.I have never tried to render something as big as that..but,can’t u render out, manually, sections of the image? Divide the image in 2 parts… Render out by using the crop feature...then stich the images in Photoshop...well,that’s what MD-3D also sad,but if the script doesn’t work, you might want to try to do it manually

Even his script is limited to 32000px. You could try setting the size to half, and then blowup each quarter. My comp went into cardiac arrest several times doing this… listen to Zap, make the FG map a lot smaller.
